BOTOX has been used successfully for over 20 years in ophthalmology, and for over 10 years in plastic surgery and dermatology. Side effects are generally rare, and when administered by an experienced medical professional the procedure is well-established as safe and effective.

Only your ability to frown is diminished. Muscles responsible for all other facial expressions are completely unaffected — your smile, raised eyebrows, and all other expressions remain entirely natural. The result is a more refreshed, rested appearance without looking "frozen."

Botox is FDA approved specifically for glabellar frown lines (between the eyebrows). It is also commonly and effectively used for forehead lines, crow's feet around the eyes, and other areas of facial expression lines. We will advise you on the best treatment areas during your free consultation.

With BOTOX, the effects on the targeted muscles last up to 3 months, at which time another treatment is required. After several treatments, however, results can last even longer. Consistency is key — many patients find their results improve with regular appointments.

Currently, BOTOX is the best treatment specifically for wrinkles on the forehead and between the eyes. However, we also use injectable fillers and chemical peels to improve facial wrinkles in all areas — often combining treatments for comprehensive facial rejuvenation.

Botox requires no surgery and no downtime. Most patients return to their normal daily activities immediately after their appointment. Minor redness or swelling at the injection site is possible but typically resolves within a few hours.
